Xiaoke Zeng Wins National Award

Recently-graduated CCHSA Masters student and Founding Chairs Awardee Xiaoke Zeng won the Top Student Abstract Award at the 9th Biennial Conference of the Canadian Association for Research on Work and Health earlier this week in Toronto.

As one of three top students, Xiaoke presented her research to the whole conference audience during a morning plenary sessions. The study, titled "Predicting whole body vibration exposure in Canadian Prairie farmers" was conducted in conjunction with Ergonomics Lab collaborators Aaron Kociolek, Muhammad Khan, Stephen Milosavljevic, Brenna Bath, and Xiaoke's supervisor Catherine Trask.  Xiaoke defended her thesis in July and now works in the Ergonomics lab on various projects as a research assistant.
